Laat je meevoeren naar de underground 80s met tribute bands Pure Kult en Mistress of Jersey! Ook dit keer zorgen DJ VIX en DJ CO2 voor de beste new wave plaatjes om de avond af te sluiten. The Cult domineerde de Engelse new wave scene van de jaren ’80 met post punk tot hardrock revival met psychedelische invloeden. Met hun klanken doken ze diep in de wereld van het mystieke en oude culturen. Pure Kult, uit België, brengt jullie nu het beste werk van The Cult! De unieke stem van zanger Ian Astbury wordt probleemloos gedragen door zanger Bart en de prachtige gitaarriffs van Billy Duffy worden naadloos en met passie gespeeld door Joeri. De groep ‘The Mistress of Jersey’ is een tribute band uit Gent, opgericht om de hoogdagen van The Sisters of Mercy terug tot leven te brengen! Ze spelen het beste van de Sisters, van het begin tot de release van de iconische plaat ‘First and Last and Always’ en de split van de band in “85, en dit in de stijl van de optredens van 1984-1985. Denk aan de ‘Black October‘ en ‘Tune in, turn on, burn out’ tournees, en je weet wat je kan verwachten. De Sisters van weleer zijn niet meer, maar de sound van toen doet nog steeds vele harten sneller slaan.

When you say dark underground 80s, you say Sisters of Mercy! The band ‘The Mistress of Jersey’ is a tribute band from Ghent, Belgium, that was founded to revive the heydays of The Sisters of Mercy. They play the best of the Sisters, from the beginning until the release of the iconic LP ‘First and Last and Always’ and the split of the band in ‘85, and do this in the style of the live performances of 1984-1985. Think of the ‘Black October‘ and ‘Tune in, turn on, burn out’ tours, and you know what to expect. The Sisters from back then no longer exist, but the sound from those days still makes many hearts beat faster.
