Sunday Jamsession (Sessionleader: Alex Gabeler!)

Wat onze sessies extra bijzonder maakt? Elke week hebben we een nieuwe sessieleider! Deze week:

Alex Gabeler! Sessieleider Alex wordt door sommigen in Breda ook wel aangekondigd als ‘Young Elvis’. Samen met zijn gitaar weet hij oude rock ’n roll, blues en country helemaal terug te brengen naar het moment! Op 3 november komt hij vanuit zijn hometown Nijmegen naar Breda om een heel bijzondere sessie te leiden! We beginnen de middag namelijk met een ontzettend gaaf optreden van niemand minder dan Early James, om er vervolgens met Alex een gezellige jam van te maken. Heb jij je tickets voor Early James al gekocht? De aansluitende jamsessie is geheel gratis!

Bij Phoenix vinden op zondagen de ultieme jamsessies plaats, waar de bruisende muziekscene van Breda en omstreken samenkomt. Musici van alle niveaus, genres en leeftijden stappen op het podium van Poppodium Phoenix om te experimenteren, te verbinden en vooral te genieten. Van doorgewinterde sessiemuzikanten tot aanstormend talent dat voor het eerst de spotlights betreedt – voor iedereen is er plaats bij Phoenix! Ook liefhebbers van livemuziek genieten volop van de sfeer en zijn meer dan welkom!

Een scala aan instrumenten staat voor je klaar, waaronder piano’s, keyboards, microfoons, gitaren, basgitaren, drumstellen, percussie en zelfs een contrabas. Wil je iets bijzonders meenemen? Voel je vrij! Bij Poppodium Phoenix zie je regelmatig unieke instrumenten op het podium verschijnen, zoals steeldrums, violen en Hammond-orgels. Welk instrument breng jij mee naar Phoenix?

Alex Gabeler! Alex is sometimes introduced in Breda as the ‘Young Elvis.’ With his guitar, he brings old-school rock ’n roll, blues and country music right back to life! On November 3rd, he’s coming all the way from his home town Nijmegen to Breda to lead a very special jam session! We’ll kick off the afternoon with an amazing performance by none other than Early James, and after that, Alex will turn it into a lively jam session. The ultimate jam sessions take place on Sundays at Phoenix, where the vibrant music scene of Breda and the surrounding area comes together. From seasoned session musicians to emerging talent entering the spotlight for the first time – there is room for everyone at Phoenix! Lovers of live music will also enjoy the atmosphere and are more than welcome!

A range of instruments are ready for you, including pianos, keyboards, microphones, guitars, bass guitars, drums, percussion and even a double bass. Do you want to take something special with you?
