Dub Club Breda is getting ready for the 5th edition, which will take place on the 17th of October.

This time we have invited Food Bass Shelter Soundsystem (the basic needs in life).

Food Bass Shelter Soundsystem

A reggae soundsystem from The Hague founded in 2013, which consists of Iskander and Serge. They share the love for quality vinyl and choose to play a wide variety, from roots to stepper and some dubplate productions. As long as it has a serious message and distinct sound in the tune. Sufferation and oppression, with a heavyweight-positive vibration.

Fada Jep ft. King Lova (Eindhoven)

Fada Jep is the originator of Crucial Sounds, a conscious roots and reggae soundsystem which has been operating from Einhoven for over 25 years. This duo has performed many times together. Fada Jep is the selecta, and King Lova is the man with the microphone.

Unisound

UNISOUND was founded at the Holy Hearth Church of Breda. This squatted church was a creative haven fuelled by the love for Roots, Reggae, and Dub. Founding member Derk brings deep musical knowledge to the decks, channelling the original spirit of the sound system in every session.

Nomad & Isaac

Nomad & Isaac are the organisers of Dub Club Breda. This duo have a common passion for roots, reggae, dub and steppers music. From a young age they were part of the soundsystem culture, and it was their mission to bring this to Breda.
